Holiday Giving

The Children’s Advocacy Center’s work is never done.  Throughout the year, we assist our families with food, clothing and basic necessities.  Items are distributed through the Center’s PitStop.  Similar to a PitStop in motorsports where a vehicle pits for fuel or new tires, the CACDC PitStop is a place where families can get help with food, clothes, household items, or special needs to get back on track.

You can donate to the Pitstop be donating new items such as:

  • Food
  • Clothes (must be new)
  • Shoes (any size)
  • Underwear (any size)
  • Household Items (towels, bedding, small appliances)

Every fall, individuals and businesses in the community adopt families to help in the following areas:

  • Back to School Supplies
  • Thanksgiving Food Drive
  • Christmas Family Adoption

If you are interesting in adopting a family or donating items for our PitStop, contact Rebecca Truette, Family Services Coordinator at (972)317-2818 x 239 or by email truette@cacdc.org.
